places to buy chooks nr sidmouth devon????
We are off on holiday 2moro down to devon, my chooks are going to a boarding for the week but seens as i will be leaving the urban hustle and bustle for the countryside thought it would abe a great oppurtunity to add to my girls. So does anyone know of anywhere around or near sidmouth that sell chooks? Pure breeds ?

Most definately go to the DTBC:

I got all mine from there and it's a great place to visit, excellent tea shop and although not cheap, the chooks are top-notch. Three of mine started laying this last fortnight (they are 25 weeks old now).

Thanks everyone, def worth a visit, a bit out of our way but has a play area so my kids can run around too. Think will be a trip for those cloudy days! I did nearly choke on my cuppa at the prices though! London price chickens me thinks!

Yep, compared to hybrids they are expensive but they are fully vaccinated and the real thing when it comes to pure breeds. Mine all look fantastic, even if I say so myself
