new chook owner looking for hard wood chips in norwich
I have three girlies in a small run but have just ordered a 6 by 8 foot walk in run. It will sit on our old concrete shed base which slopes gently towards our neighbours garden for drainage. Its uncovered so i would like to use hard wood wood chips. Anyone local to norwich or wymondham know of a local supplier? I need around 280 litres to start with. Have tried gravel, sand and compost but not working well.

Although we're not local to Norwich any more, we order our woodchip from Carl Dawson in Potter Heigham. Excellent quality hardwood chips.

I took some advice off the forum yesterday and googled tree surgeons. I didn't find any for free (yet) but I have found a local one (sorry, not Norwich) that sells them for half the price that I've seen at the local sawmill & compost corner so maybe try google.

They might sell them at Taverham Garden Centre. You could always try B&Q or something
