when we were catching them in the barn I just wanted to shout.....come on girls, if only you knew today you would be seeing sun, smelling fresh air!!!

I am weary, dirty and smelly.....gonna have a hot shower and a cup of tea....

I am going to get some more after the summer. I have too much going on at the moment to commit. I feel privileged to be able to help. Would love some feedback from the new owners x

Thank you for those kind words but to be honest I feel i am privileged to be allowed to be part of the rehoming. I was also lucky enough to chat to the farmer. Dispute my previous opinion, he didn't have cloven hooves horns and a pointed tail! I felt he really cared about the hens and was doing the best he could with what he had! I honestly thought I would dislike him...maybe I wanted to but I really didn't

A big thank you to the teams that did the rehomings yesterday.

Our 5 have managed to lay 4eggs this morning as a thank you.......Yorkshire pudding tonight! They spent most of the late afternoon just staring at the garden and made it up the ladder to bed without a fuss.
