  1. Only one week after we picked up our Exbatt girls, Maureen popped in to see me at my desk in the conservatory (see below). Am proud as punch. They are settling in so well. Its great to see them stretching their wings, running and scratching about. Bless 'em! http://club.omlet.co.uk/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=24828
  2. Our three new girls are settling in well, but SHirley is pecking the heck out of Vera and making her comb bleed. She keeps blocking the pop hole and stopping vera from getting outside. Is there something we should be doing, or is this just them settling in and sorting the pecking order out? Cheers
  3. Thanks for all your congrats. Just to let you know, even after there traumatic day yesterday, Shirley laid a perfect egg for us this morning, bless her! Have tried to put it on the first egg place but it hasn't worked properly. I'll stick it in my album instead and out the link on here in a sec.
  4. http://club.omlet.co.uk/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=24500 Hopefully if this works, here are the three gorgeous girls looking a bit bewildered in their new pad.[/url]
  5. Yippee I've just got home after picking up my three girls. Bless them thay'd been stuck in their crates on the A12 in traffic for a while. Well done to the organisation of everyone there. They have already settled in and are making their nice brrrup sound. So pleeeeeaaaaased
  6. Will look forward to seeing you there then Helen. I'll be the stunningly handsome fella... Actually I'll be the tall skinhead, probably with parents in tow, as they are down for the weekend for my mums birthday. Its great isn't it. Come down to us for your birthday, oh and by the way you are helping pick up some chickeroonies.
  7. Ooooooooh, only four days to go till we pick up our new girls . The new home is looking cosy with lots of bedding and some old rugs over the whole thing for this chilly weather. Suffice to say we are VERY excited
  8. Hi Kim I've got a date of 23rd Feb just up in Great Totham near you. Very excited.
  9. Thank you. So excited, feel giddy. Better calm down otherwise I'll just be a greasy spot by the time next weekend comes round.
  10. HOORAAAAAAH Just got a date of a week on saturday (23rd Feb) to pick up our three girlies. Very very exited.
  11. Excellent. It'll be really good to be cat free in the garden. Thanks for all the good advice.
  12. If you can find some on line or wherever, Lion Poo supposedly works with foxes and cats. Just a thought.
  13. I haven't got my girls yet. Waiting for a call from BHWT next month hopefully. However, where our girls will be is also a cut through for one of our neighbours horrendous cats. Will this be a problem? has anyone else had cat problems, or will the girls be OK? Just want to ask. Cheers Pud
  14. Thanks egluntine, that's a great help. Still waiting for a pick up date for our battery rescues, but will get some garlic powder in ready.
  15. Maybe a stupid question, but what does the garlic powder help with?
