  2. I love this game. Very addictive. I would love more people to play with. I think my user name Is Goldstar. If that doesn't work PM me with yours and I will do it. Thanks. Xx
  3. I am in an area with the hosepipe ban, I phoned the water company yesterday to double check that I could use a hosepipe to clean out and was told no. Back to the bucket and scrubbing brush for me.
  4. Frogs. I had a visit from one last night, scared the heebeegeebees out of me. I went and hid upstairs while my hubby moved it.
  5. The title really speaks for itself. The place I get all my chicken things don't sell it. I don't need any at the moment, but it's a good idea to have some, just in case. Am I right in thinking that you use it as an antiseptic on cuts? Thank you
  6. Thank you both for your replies. I had to get them out in the end. My 2 original girls are free ranging . Hopefully they will put themselves to bed tonight and get out in the morning. Thanks again
  7. Yesterday I bought 3 POL hybrids. I put them in the coop last night. Well this morning they haven't ventured out yet. I'm not sure what to do, should I leave them to it and hope they come out or should I take them out? I am worried that they haven't had anything to eat or drink this morning. I am also worried that they won't get in the coop tonight and out again tomorrow, if I take them out. What do you think I should do?
  8. Wow. That's really high. Are you going to be able to get her down? I am getting my new hens next weekend, I was thinking of getting a white sussex, but am now having doubts I don't fancy tree climbing to get her down.
  9. I have got some easibed and am using it in the nest box at the moment. I want to use it it the run but it isn't covered yet. Does the run have to be covered before I put it down. Does it matter if it gets wet? Thanks.
  10. Thank you everyone for your replies. I clipped the wings of my current girls. My OH is working away a lot at the moment, so thought I would get the seller to do it as I found it was a 2 person job. (I am a bit cack-handed).
  11. I am planning on getting some new hens in the next couple of weeks. My question to you all is are sellers willing to clip their wings for you? My plan is to go to Landbase Poultry near Colchester, so if anyone has any experience with them I would really appreciate it. Thanks
