  1. Happy you found a new homestead for your ladies - and such a pretty lilac one! Thank you for replying.
  2. HI there, Cannot believe it. We were talking about ebaying the cube last night when I said let me check Omlet first. We have a green MK1 cube with a three metre run along with an Omlet half shade and half clear cover, 1 green Glug bowl, 1 green Grub bowl, 1 free standing red feeding station and 1 green free standing grit station and, finally a chicken swing.. The top of the cube has some scratch marks (my cats used to enjoy jumping up on top of the cube for a snooze - never had cat trouble with the hens). It is all disassembled after my last two ancient ladies passed away as we are planning a revamp of that part of the garden. We are in the Kingston/Surbiton area. Not sure if this too far away for you. Let me know if you are still looking. By the way, ignore the wooden ramp in the photo. My ladies had gotten quite old so we made a ramp to fit on top of the ladder that was easier for them to climb. And the big flower pot was their dust bath and perch. And we also have an Omlet winter duvet cover for the cube.
  3. Hello I am a new member. I have 3 hens in the caravan type Eglu. Rick, Ray and Rudy (sadly Rusty died within 2 weeks of moving in with us). I also have 2 cats - Kit and Kat - black and white 13 year old male domestic cats. The hens have been with us for nearly 2 months now. I let them out in the garden every evening afterwork and for some hours every day of the week-end. Until last week my cats and hens all rubbed along well together. Rick is a bit of a bad tempered hen but now he has started to chase my cats and peck at their bottoms. They don't need this bother at their time of life. Rick is quick and I seldom get to the cat before she does. The cats are idiots and have a lot of hen free garden but their attidute seems to be that they were there first so keep wandering into hen territory. I don't know what to do. Has anybody been successful in making a cranky hen be friends with 2 cats.
