I go my hive today its a national one. Every thing included. All I need is foundation wax. I am hopeing to start bee keeping next year. Could someone please tell please tell me if I get the wax foundation now will it go off? Or when should I get it? Thanks Steve

I went to clean the nest box where my chickens sleep last week brcause they dont have roost bar but any way there were so many feathers over the space of a night. It was unbelievable

I dont think worming is vital for me as for me as I have them just in run. I took treats of them so its probably just the cold weather. Thanks again everyone

Thanks olly for great help. I am hopeing to do any evening beekeeping course if I can work other things around it. Good to hear about being able to go within a foot of hive without anybother. I am just trying to learn as much as I can they are very interesting and I want to make a good stab at looking afterthem as best I can so thats why I have been asking questions. I have arranged to get a second hand hive, i have suit and smoker. So will wait to new year to get bees. Steve

I have removed treats for 3 weeks because I thought that might the problem and they were wormed at around the start of the summer. So hopefully they will lay soon. Its probably cold wether also. Thanks

Hello I live in Northern Ireland and I am hopeing to start beekeeping. I will be putting my bee hive at my Grandpaents house as they have a big garden and live near orchards. Could somebody please tell me how far I shold place the hive away from neighbours and house? Thanks Steve
