Both Pepperpots and Gingernuts were on my short-list of desired breeds, so I'm hopeful that they may offer either of those in the US as well. The weather here is snowing! I believe that we were treated to 5 inches this morning. That amount completely shuts Washington, DC down, so it's a day of working in PJs! Cheers to all!

Greetings! I highly recommend the mystery series by Louise Penny that starts with the first book in the series "Still Life". These are the Inspector Gamache mysteries that take place in a lovely little village in Quebec. They are quite lovely. An enjoyable quick read are the 3 books in the series by Emma Jameson with the subtitle of "Lord and Lady Hetheridge". I think the order is "Ice Blue", "Blue Murder", and "Something Blue". There also is a very enjoyable mystery series that takes place in the wine country of Napa, California. They are by Nadia Gordon and are the "Sonny McCoskey" series. Enjoy!

Hello Omlet Forum! I am new and wanted to say hello (was looking for a newbie introduction thread but did not find one...) I am living in Washington, DC in a condo but have just put it on the market and purchased a tiny cottage in MD with a wee back garden. I'm planning for chickens. (And bees...) Ordering chickens from Omlet? I was researching which Eglu model was best for my situation (I think the Eglu Go) and realized that one also can order chickens at the same time. However, when you get to that part of the order screen, it allows one to select the number of chickens (up to four in the case of an Eglu Go), but it does not seem to let one select breed of chicken. Did I miss something? And finally - Montgomery County, MD -- basic research on the County Ordinances related to chicken keeping in Montgomery County, MD reveals a great deal of confusion. Is anyone on here a chicken keeper in that locale? Thanks so much and best to all!
