fluffygrue
You guys are fantastic! I think the patter of tiny chicken feet may be not too far away.. (And yes, it seems that now my main problem is what colour to get!)

The Dogmother
Whereabouts in the west midlands are you? There are lots of forum members around here. If you have trouble finding someone to go round to your house, then if you can get the Eglu to me, I'll have them in my garden.
jonesyboy27
Hi Clare We live in Kingswinford West Mids regards
The Dogmother
OK, well, leave the post up for a while to see if anyone in that area sees it and offers. Also try emailing barbara@omlet.co.uk, she might know of someone in that area who would be willing. If you don't get any joy, then if you're prepared to put the eglu and hens in the car and bring them to sunny Banbury, I'd be happy to look after them for you. Lesley
I'd be quite happy to have them here if you wanted to bring them over. Just slightly nearer to you than Clare - and a bit more room!
Martin B
Echo! Would be happy to have them. I think Lesley has a few acres more room though!

fluffygrue
Hello Fluffgrue - looks like you've no excuse not to get an Eglu and a couple of chickens now Now what colour Eglu are you going to order? It seems I've just ordered a green reconditioned one. Have yet to arrange a delivery date. To add my 2p, I'm happy to chicken sit - we're in South Manchester and have room in the garden. (Think we'll be away mid-August for 2 weeks, so will probably need to arrange something for then, when we figure out what plans are )
Barbara
Can I just say that I'm afraid that I don't actually have a list of chicken sitters. The only person I have listed is Melcotton http://egluretreats.blogspot.com/ in Leicestershire. I think we need to make some sort of directory to list all those willing to chicken sit on here though. I'll leave that to Kate to organise .

Mrs Frugal
Right, I've created a new section "Chicken Sitters" and have listed everyone here who has said that they would consider being chicken sitters. If anyone wants to be removed from that list, please let me know. If you want to be added to it, again, please let me know.
