I'm getting my hair done for free on Monday - I've put myself up as a model for the salon I use and I'm giving them free reign on my mop!

Hmm, could be interesting Andrew.

 

Hopefully it won't turn out like someone's did on Celebrity Scissor hands when Lil Chris cut someone's hair-he couldn't brush it and cut it all off for them.

I know what you mean about a good haircut making you feel heaps better. I always find it quite relaxing having my hair done for me. A bit of a rare treat I'm afraid, I'm dreadfully disorganised and usually end up racing into any old salon asking for a last minute appt after I've woken up one morning and realised that my hairs really gone past that tousled but looked after look and into the rats tails, just got out of bed look

 

That said I had my hair done recently, and I'm a bit disappointed. I wanted a few subtle, lighter streaks in a reddish gold colour (I'm naturally mid brown and quite like being a brunette)...........but now I've got great chunks of blonde throughout my hair.........and I don't much like it . Friends say it looks OK (or are they simply being kind) but I don't feellike me .

I was a model for the local hair salon when I was in the 6th form. No actual modelling stuff, but someone for trainees to try stuff out on . I've got long hair, so they practiced putting it up into all sorts of interesting styles. They put it into a beehive once, to practice incase anyone ever came in asking for one for a fancy dress party. I'm only sorry now that I didn't have the guts to go home like that and have my photo taken! (It looked amazing, but I chickened out - I think I had lessons later in the afternoon and I'm quite shy!)
