Cinnamon
Wow, lucky you Mrs B I used to have a set of green ones, but I ebayed them when they just got too heavy for me They do look lovely though, especially on that rack. I love the scales too - you must be beaming!

Janty
I should ebay our Le Creuset. I have a few pans and a griddle but don't use them as we have a glass ceramic induction hob and although they work on the hob, they are far too heavy and tend to get clunked down onto it. The Dogmother
Ooo, what colour are they and what do you have Janty?
Jules.
WELL!! Look what I got from the Freecycle lady this morning!! I gave her eggs as WELL as lemon curd!! Happy Mrs Bertie (when I was a punk and a goth I never thought I'd get so excited about a set of saucepans, has it really come to this ) i've never been a punk or a goth, but I too never thought I would get excited about house-holdy things either They are fab, Mrs B. My friend has a set the same but in orange.

Cinnamon
I should ebay our Le Creuset. They fetch a really good price Janty. Be careful with the P&P charges though - light they are not
Tessa the Duchess
You got a really good Freecycle haul, congrats Mrs. B, I hate to think how much that saucepan set would be to buy new I also love the kitchen scales I have one huge Le Crueset casserole dish. Because it is so large it lives in a top cupboard in the kitchen. I dread getting it down, I have to use the little kitchen steps and I keep up this mantra, don't drop it, don't drop it, don't drop it until I safely put it on a kitchen top, really kills my arthriticky shoulders Lovely to cook in though. The Dogmother
I love the way that they can go from hob to oven - very versatile, and they just cook well. As Jules said, they often have some in T K Maxx, but it's mainly the stoneware when I look.
bronze
Oh theyre lovely Im another whos though I think I would need a new stove to do them justice.
Snowy
They do look lovely Mrs B, well done! And just think of your biceps!! (perfect for arresting villains ) Must admit I wouldn't mind one of the casserole dishes and lids, now they would be very practical.
MedusA
Wow Mrs. B!!!!! What a fabulous haul. I would love the pans (in green). I have a cookbook stand exactly the same as yours too. My kitchen is all racing green and cream (well the walls, tiles, woodwork etc.) to match my range cooker which was something I'd wanted for years&years&years. Keanie Bean
NICE pans Mrs B, I'm sooooooooooooo jealous. Enjoy cooking in them. Sarah.x
Shirl
What a great "haul" . I love the scales too. We have a book stand very similar and our pans are green on a chrome stand. I keep moaning at the OH to get rid because they no longer go with our kitchen but he's too lazy to ebay them.
hillfamily
There lovely Mrs B............I'm so What a super freecycle find :D I've always wanted some le creuset pans..............I look longing at them in John Lewis .........maybe one day
Egluntyne
Fab trade there. I have a few Le Creuset items and like them....but I do find them heavy when full. When I am a sweet white haired old lady, I won't be able to lift them. My daughter has said she will give them a good home!
The Dogmother
When I am a sweet white haired old lady, I won't be able to lift them. My daughter has said she will give them a good home! Rosie said something similar the other day Egluntine; "Mummy, I can't wait until you retire so we can have another dog"
