ubereglu
Well I'm thinking about getting a pair of hunters and the wellie warmers that you can get for them. That way they'd fit properly and I could quickly bung them on in the mornings and I'd still have toasty feet. As I have narrow heels I find most wellies slip off when I walk in them-hence people tell me to wear wellie socks, but they take too long to put on in the mornings when I'm in a hurry, so it would be better to have ones that fitted properly

Gamebird
I wear wellies on a daily basis and for most of the day. In the past I found that Hunter wellies perish around the crease areas after about a year. Although I think they have probably improved them since I last bought a pair. I've bought neoprene lined Le Chameau this year and I only need to wear one pair of Coolmax socks (not thick ones) and my feet are warm and comformtable. I couldn't be bothered putting special liners and socks on each time. I was out in the cold and rain all day yesterday, walking through thick clay mud up and down hills and my feet were warm and comfortable and I didn't slip once. They're adjustable at the top so you can easily tuck your trousers in (plus a pair of waterproofs) and then tighten them up so they're not flapping about your legs. Cooks
I haven't read the whole thread so apologise if someone has already mentioned it, but Aldi have wellies in at the moment VERY cheap about 7.99 I think if I remember the tag correctly. They were nice too!, but I stick with my timberland boots they have never failed me yet!, except the lacing up and unlacing part I guess
