BarbaraJ
? Almost certainly. Shopping with DD in one of the children/teenage clothes shops, found a tiny black and silver t-shirt with the slogan 'Your boyfriend thinks I'm cute'. Size? Age 6!! those just look stupid and it is wrong but the t-shirt thing winds me up more and i have refused my girls inappropriate t-shirt slogans over the years! Chickvic
Really awful! I have enough trouble getting my DD (11) a pair of flattish shoes for school, luckily she still likes to wear her trainers at other times!

Cinnamon
Don't get me started on inappropriate T shirts. Cleo, who is 13, wants a band t shirt which says 'I partied naked with Bring me The Horizon' Needless to say,she will be getting it over my dead body. I don't mind a bit of sauce & very mild innuendo, but things have gone too far. A 14 year old in Cleos class wore red lacey knickers with 'come play with me' on the back of them last week. Cleo saw them when they were getting changed for PE.......it would seem that the young lady in question was quite proud of them! What on earth are her parents thinking????? Valkyrie
I am quite jealous - how can a baby wear high heels when I can't! I am also surprised that the poor mite hasn't got a pink wig to match. Dreadful. When my DD reached that wonderful age of growing up, requiring certain extra items to add to underwear, the products very nicely put comments on the wrappers (words to the effect) like: "turn your boyfriend on by . . ." and "make yourself feel sexy by . . ." I was not amused to see that on a product that a 12 year old would use - I changed brands PDQ before she saw them.
Mutrix Farmers
Words fail me too but there are some "mothers" out there that will buy this sort of rubbish and think it's OK. Mind you they are the sort that really shouldn't be mothers in the first place!!

I wonder sometimes if its just me losing my sense of fun and humour but I seriously think its sooo wrong - 14 is a child after all
