Ok so copied below is the record for the number of users online at any one time:

Most users ever online was 214 on Thu Mar 27, 2008 2:25 pm I think we should all agree on a date for sometime in 2009 when we will all agree to be online at the same time. It's time to put that old record to rest. What do you all think?

Unfortunately, that is not a true figure to beat......there was a blip that day........

 

I can't remember now what the original figure was - we used to try to beat it.

It was always done in September, but we didn't bother last year, because of the blip. The forum was playing up at the time.

 

We could always try again though.

That is what seemed to happen last time - we broke the record, but then the numbers shot up from, I think, the crawl bots

That's a good idea. I was going to reply that last time there was such a lengthy debate about the date & time. Because the decision took so long, more & more people were suggesting alternatives & some were upset that they couldn't manage the allocated slot.
