Mine will come down on Tuesday - it will look a bit bare, so I'll look round for some chickenalia to hang in its place.

Ours came down this afternoon - but we don't put them up until just before Christmas, so I haven't had time to get bored with them.

 

I miss the lights, but it does make the place seem more tidy and spacious!

I miss the lights, but it does make the place seem more tidy and spacious!

 

Mine won't seem tidy & spacious yet, I have to clear out the space under the stairs in order to get to the cupboard under the stairs before I can put most of the decs away .

 

That is a job I am saving until the children have both gone back to school (DS tomorrow evening, DD Wednesday morning) - what a thing to look forward to on Wednesday clearing & tidying, oh joy & bliss ! It needs doing & I will feel soooo much better once it's done Most of it's crafty stash, so I will enjoy the sorting as long as I don't start "playing" !!!!

 

Hopefully by Wednesday evening, everything will be secreted in an orderly fashion & DH will go into shock at the tidiness of it all - ever the optimist !

Taken all ours down...felt a bit sad at first, but then I hoovered up (most) of the pine needles and realised how much more space we have now!
