Electricbarbarella
theex batts and my old girls have been freeranging together for the last 2 days with no problems, what do i do next?
abwsco
I don't know what your set up is but once mine were free ranging happily together I put all of mine in the run together for short times but with me supervising to see how that went. Once that went OK I left them to decide where they wanted to sleep. My temporary home for the newbies was inside the run so they had the choice of that or the coop. My Dorking Cross decided that she wanted to sleep in the coop last week but there was too much argy bargy on the perch so she took herself back out to the rabbit hutch so mine are not together at night yet. Egluntyne
I'd let them continue to free range together for a week or so, and then bite the bullet and start putting them together at night. It will mean that you will have to get up early to make sure they aren't squabbling for a few days.
