WitchHazel
Well, I now know for sure that Jasmine hasn't been the layer of the brown eggs that have been appearing over the last few days. I know this for a fact because I've just found my second brown egg today, and this one can only have come from a Welsummer hen. Isn't it just gorgeous?!? Double celebratory egg dance today, (a) At over a year old, Jasmine has started to lay and it is beautiful; and (b) it means someone else is laying too, the other brown egg! Yipppeeeeee. Omletina Kyckling
What a lovely collection of eggs. I agree, the Welsummer eggs are beautiful. Karin's are just like that and everybody is astonished by them. I plan to get another Welsummer this spring/summer (and perhaps a couple more blue/green layers ) I still get excited when I see one of Karin's eggs in the nest box!!
