Mice and Ikea

Aaaw he's so cute!

BUT if you could stand there and take a pic without him legging it then you definitely need to take action!!!! :shameonu:

I found peanut butter and raisins on traps worked the best. We had a mouse infestation in one of our rented houses in Bradford years ago. OH found a dead mouse in his toaster in his house, thank goodness we didn't have that experience, he thinks it had been there a while and the toaster was used daily :vom: !

By letting them breed in a place where you don't want them you are being crueller as you will end up having to kill more in the long run....they are gorgeous little things but.......

I'd love a cuppa ta, minus mouse droppings, but youre a long way off - I'm in London so I'll take a rain check. Please do something soon, the ladies on this forum are experts in mice by the sound of things. I am shocked how many people have them and its not just untidy folk like me its also the ladies with clean pristine homes too.

We had mice/ rats a couple of years ago and our expert ratter (cat) couldn't do anything about it because they were in the loft and inside the walls. Never actually saw a live one, just heard them (rather horrible when one runs up the inside of the wall by your head at night time!) and saw them dead in the trap.

Have you got someone else who could actually "do the deed" for you so that you don't have the actual deaths on your concience? I'm glad you've decided that you do have to do something though.

Good luck

We have the little darlings as well! Although never actually seen any, have found plenty of droppings in a cupboard.

We are currently renting the house, bit of a long story but I decorated the house, the landlord popped round one day 6 months after i moved in, saw it was decorated and decided to put it on the market! So, being a rather disgruntled tenant i have found the mice very useful. I have traditional traps down in the kitchen (not set) - they seem to put prospective purchasers off pretty quick! And the daft Estate Agent doesn't seem too keen to sell the house, every time he visits he asks if i have seen any mice - i explain no, not seen any, but willingly show him and the people viewing the droppings in the cupboard!

We have found a nicer house to rent and are moving very soon so the fun will be over but it has kept me entertained!
