Cooks
well I 'twanged' my knee (I need a a better word but cant find one) I was running my normal 2.5 mile run and was about 2 miles in when a twang went inside my knee!!! I have been laid up on the sofa really since. I cant bend my knee too well, so oldest son suggests I take up walking like a penguin.. have iced and elevated it, not too much swelling just pain when it bends. jlo
Ouch!! Poor you. Lots of rest should help. If you don't mind, I will be using you as yet another excuse as to why I am putting off starting running (actually I wobble rather than run!) again! Ain't Nobody Here
Poor you, Cookie . Hope it's not painful enough to stop you sleeping tonight . I agree, running is dangerous. I tripped & landed on my face and hand a couple of years ago. Broke 2 bones in my hand and had bruising from forehead to neck (very fetching ). Six weeks off work was a bonus though .
