cathybc
gutted that Natalie went, I loved her enthusuasm and attitude. Liked Ricky Groves too for similiar reasons....after dissing Chris in the first week, I think he's now 'my favourite' (but hopefully in a Brucie way)
Eggquisite
Come on Ola & Chris!!! Chris has worked so hard deserves to go all the way!!!

sadietoo
It's interesting isn't it that Ricky has so little public support that he's ended up in the dance off for the last two weeks, but the problem is unless he is in a dance off against Ali, Chris is the next one to go out.. The right person went this week, personally I think she should have gone last week....
chickencam
I think it was the right result tonight. I am amazed at the public support for Chris and Ola, he seems really bemused and touched by it. He brings the only comedy to the show now though. Next week should be interesting
Seagazer
It was the right result, Laila went wrong too many times. I think its a shame that Ricky doesn't have the public support as he is the best dancer in my opinion, well last night he definitely was as Ali made some mistakes. I have a feeling that Chris and Ola could win with the amount of support they have.
Eggquisite
Definitely agree it was the right result ... The right person went this week, personally I think she should have gone last week.... Wonder if next week it's all down to the public voting.. that may give Ola & Chris a good chance.. Whilst I think Ricky is a great dancer & quite easy on the eye both Ricky & Ali have had some dance training which is different to Chris who hasn't had any previous dance experience. I like to see great characters work hard & come through - Ola & Chris appear to have a super time After watching the superb Vincent & Flavia last night, the Argentinian Tango next week should be very interesting - my favourite dance which Vincent & Flavia are truly breathtaking to watch perform. Seagazer
Yes Vincent and Flavia were just fantastic, I always love it when they do the Argentinian Tango, you can see why they are champions.

susanbb
They've just announced on It takes two that all three will be going to the final as there will be no dance off. There's a surprise They will all still get votes from the judges and public
welovemarmite
there are two shows left aren't there? so what does this mean for this weekends show.... being a little slow here
Sunshine
I just went on to the Strictly site and the latest tweet was: No dance-off in the Semi-Final. The couple with the lowest combined score from the public and judges will leave the contest. So someone will be going but they are just not having a dance off. Griffin
It's just going to turn into a popularity contest now and public support has grown massively over the last week or so for Chris and Ola and it's no surprise they're the bookies favourites to win now. The bookies think Ricky will go on Saturday. I think that'd be a shame, he's the best male dancer, always has been, but it seems the public don't like him. I've loved Ali from the start but I really really wish she'd relax and throw herself into the dance a bit more. I watched Aleshas showdance again tonight and one of the judges said she danced if as her life depended upon it, they could never say that about Ali. Seagazer
I know Chris is popular and I do like his and Ola's partnership, they are so funny but it is a dance competition. Both Ali and Ricky make silly mistakes at times but they are the best dancers. Ali's nerves get the better of her and she also doesn't really act some of the parts, as they said on It takes Two last night. Ricky is good at both the latin and ballroom. I think Ricky should win but I think he'll probably go out sadly.
Lesley
I always wanted Chris to do well but have been surprised at how far he has come - as has been said it has turned into a popularity contest. I would like to see Ricky win as the best dancer but feel he will leave
Seagazer
We should all just vote for the best dancer on the night. I must admit to not having voted so far this year. I'll wait and see who it is.
Chickendoodle
I would suspect that they have done this because of what happened last year. If you remember we were also down to 3 in the semi final. If my memory serves me correctly Gethin Jones got the highest public vote on the night but because the judges had placed him 3rd he was always going to be in the dance off and was eliminated. There was a right old hue and cry at the time saying that there shouldn't have been a dance off. This way the public vote will count more and surely that it what it is all about? Just had a look at the BBC Strictly message boards and there seems to be a lot of unhappy people saying that the BBC have now "fixed it" for Chris and Ola to win! Surely all the BBC have done is "fixed it "so that the couple with the most votes wins, be that the best dancers or the most popular couple - it's down to the public. I won't decide until the night who to vote for. I love Ali and Brian but Chris and Ola's Charleston made me on the night so I voted for them that time. May not have been technically brilliant but it is very rare that a dance makes me want to cheer!
chickencam
I agree on Chris and Ola's Charleston, it was so entertaining. It's a difficult situation, because the show is a mix of entertainment show and dance competition. Which should it be? It will probably come down to popularity, I haven't voted since it stopped being in aid of Children in Need.

Lavenders_Blue
I was thinking only this week that they might either change the voting this week, or else put all three couple through to the final after what happened last year. I personally would like to see a final show with three couples in as it would be more entertaining but it would make this week's show meaningless so I can see why the BBC have made this decision. I also agree that Ricky is likely to go this week, which would be a real shame as he and Ali have been the front runners from the start. Jade would also have been a serious contender for the final and I am sad that her injuries forced her to withdraw. I like Chris and Ola, but based on their performances so far I don't think they should win. Mind you - the showdance can often change everything and a lot of it comes down to the choreography. Remember Tom Chambers? He was good throughout the competition but not necessarily a winner (in my opinion). However his showdance was outstanding. It was funny, entertaining and suited his personality down to the ground. The other two dancers (Lisa and Rachel?) were, overall, better dancers in my opinion but their showdances just didn't compare. I think the SCD winner could be the couple who choreograph the most entertaining showdance.
The Dogmother
Rosie's money is on Ricky going this week. Shame as he's by far the best dancer, although Chris is the only one of the three left not to have had dance training in the past, so he's made the most improvement. Work's christmas shindig on Saturday, so I shall miss it.
Seagazer
I'd prefer a 3 couple final, its more exciting that. Its such a shame that Jade couldn't finish the competition as she would have been a contender. Interestingly on ITT last night most of the professionals all said that Ricky was the best by far so it will be a shame if he doesn't get through.
