Hi, we want to install a WIR and I really like the ones on the FSF website. (Has to be a flatpack one as I would like it sooner rather than later and hubby isn't great at DIY! Flat pack is our limit!)

Has anyone got one (piccies please?).

 

We plan to just have a weldmesh roof and woodchip base (we figure we can always tarp the top in bad weather). We have a cube (currently with run + extension which we will be selling) so assume the cube will have to go inside (as can be wheeled away from wall for cleaning etc?).

 

Looked at the Aviaries4U site and very nice but SO expensive.

Egluntine has one - there is a pic in the run inspiration thread

 

I gather that she has been very pleased with it

 

Also in the same thread is a purple cube on gravel with a Flyte so Fancy run

See this thread for just the pictures . It is worth reading through the two (very long) threads titled "We're all planning walk in runs!", but get yourself a large cup of tea and a slice of toast before you start!

Hi there We got our run from Flyte so Fancy, and think it's brill as long as the base is flat then it goes together really easily, we recently added another two pannels to ours for a bit extra length and even taking the door pannel off and adding more length was easy and only took about an hour

 

We have the cube and both eglus inside but I do think it would be easier to have them outside for cleaning if possible.

 

Really good service from FSF too

That's good to know OH was wondering if it was easy to extend it if we needed too later on. (Which of course I immediately assume that means eventually I'll be allowed more chickens! )

My hubby made ours but we live fairly near Flytesofancy and have seen them in the flesh (so to speak).There coops and runs are extemely well made and their coops quite distinctive . We see several of them in the rural gardens near us.
