Space Chick
Gosh Koojie, I hope all is well ((Hugs)) As for Henry, he is behaving very oddly, keeps licking the floor and was licking leaves on a bush in the garden I have managed to get him to eat some plain pasta (vets advice) and he has kept it down so far. I arranged to work from home today, as didn't trust MIL to not give into him and give him food he's not allowed to eat today He'll be down her house tomorrow as I have to go into the office for meetings, but he will be allowed chicken and scrambled egg then. Valkyrie
Cor is it ever cold! As luck would have it Murray had pinched her car when she came home - I've just come back from dropping her off at college - cheeky madam sitting in my driver's seat!! Oi out of there! Then panic, forgot the chickens, they are now diving into corn! Ciaran has his op this evening. Erin said the examiner shouted at her - she misunderstood where he wanted to exit a roundabout because he turned his head and she thought she'd missed the turn. Do you know what you did wrong? Frightening enough without the examiner shouting, so she was on tenterhooks after that. But thank goodness that's over and done with - she says she feels a weight lifted off her shoulder and no I wasn't leaning on her! She knows about Ciaran now and wasn't impressed. No sympathy there then. Well he does ignore her.

Valkyrie
What a day - was supposed to pick mum up from docs - high bloodpressure - called her at home, nothing, drove to her home, no answer, went to docs had been and gone, went back to her house, rang phone while I was on the driveway and lo and behold she was indoors. I've just got myself a cup of tea. I'm on your driveway, oh hello. So lost boy, lost mum, daughter now has her freedom - PANIC!!!!!!!! I'd best get my blood pressure checked. Murray been to see Number One and at first he was a bit abrupt, so he decided to ignore that and chat about work (poor son) and then about films and then he was chatting OK. Girlfriend has visited him there (how did she know, probably because he wanted to blame someone other than himself). Jeewillikins. Anyhow Lewis, just do a practice session with your theory - a little every day. Erin had CD rom thingies to do tests and practice with. One was a hazzard test. It does help an awful lot. And her reversing and parking - perfect on her record chart, and that was the part she was worried about most. Oh yes Purpleywurpleytree, she bought her own car - although the test was in the instructor's car. She came home to find hers missing because Murray had used it to take Ciarans clean clothes etc (I slipped a Calvin and Hobbes book in for good measure). So she wanted to meet the pals at college and while I was locking up the door she nipped into my car - and my seat. Oi out of there you minx! So off we go, drop into hospice (show off) then college then I realise BIRDS! Gave them corn just before they turned in. Guzzled the lot. Phew I am so knackered. clootie
paper log maker? What's that Lewis, sounds interesting?
Lewis
You soak old newspapers, junk mail and shredded paper in water than put it in the mould and pull the presses down which squeezes all the water out then you have to leave them to dry for a few weeks. He was going on about getting one last year so I thought I'd get him one just to play with £15 off Amazon

Lewis
I wasn't sure it would be but thought I'd give it a try, the main bad thing seems to be that it takes ages to dry and they're ashy It'll give him something to play with though and we can get massive sacks of shredded paper
