Space Chick
Oh Sandie, I wish I hadn't just googled that I have been thinking about getting my god-daughter a charm bracelet and building it up over the years. This is FAR superior. However, I have already spent a small fortune on her for Christmas, and she's not even 3 yet Maybe save it for her birthday Can't advise on where is best, as I hadn't heard of them until 5 minutes ago

rachick
Both my mum and I have Pandora bracelets (well, my mum now has a necklace as well as she has too many charms to fit on her bracelet ) I think it's lovely, really nice quality, and I only have "genuine" Pandora beads on mine. My mum did buy some cheaper ones from eBay but you really can tell the difference. I think the prices tend to be standard in all stockists, you can occasionally get a sale item but normally it's the same price everywhere. My mum bought a lot of genuine charms from eBay from a seller in the Netherlands, which were just pver half our price, which she's been really pleased with - and the seller has really good feedback. I'll see if I can find the details if you want them! It's a lovely present idea, the only problem I've had is that I just want to keep buying charms to fill it up!! But I'm trying to take it steady, asking for charms for Christmas/Birthdays, and it's nice to be able to look at each charm and remember it's relevance. I'm hoping for the chicken charm for Christmas...... http://www.beadazzle.co.uk/?gclid=CIydl72BmZ4CFZQA4wodcERCmg
Cooks
I was toying with either a pandora or a troll bracelet some time ago and went for the troll bracelet I love mine, it's filling up nicely I have to admit.
chick wiggle
Thanks everyone. Rachick I would love that address if you can find it, thanks. Cookie, I'm jealous I want mine now *stamps foot*.
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I got one as my wedding present from OH. He had remembered I really liked them and got one from a high street, but proper, jewellers. There is a Pandora catalogue which has set prices for everything. I'd say if you can get a copy of that, and then compare with online sellers, you'll be able to see what's duff and not real. Have a look at their website too. I actually prefer trollbeads, so hope some of them will fit! He thought they were the same thing, but it was so sweet anyways.
Janty
I have a pandora bracelet and I order from here http://www.unforgettablemoments.co.uk/ They are offering 25 per cent off when you spend over £100 at the moment. You have to enter the code STORYWHEELS. Hubby has just bought me a troll bracelet for Christmas with chicken beads. I'm planning to have glass bead, chicken bead, glass bead, chicken bead, etc.
Lesley
I went for a Trollbead sized bracelet as both Pandora and Trollbeads fit - it you have a Pandora then you need the Pandora beads. I bought most of mine from Orkney Bracelets (Ebay shop) There is a thread from last year called Charm Bracelets I think......

Janty
I've got an old style silver charm bracelet made out of hubby's Grandad's old watch chain. MIL gave it to me and I had it altered. It's nearly full now....people bought me lots of charms for my 40th to do with me....a chicken, a liver bird, a saxophone, a heart, etc. I don't care if they are fashionable or not....I love it. Seagazer
Hubby has given me a Swag brochure to look through and told me to circle anything I like the look of and I might get it for Christmas - I'm so excited I think I will probably go for a Pandora bracelet. I really love the idea of family being able to get me charms or beads for birthdays etc.

I had one when small. Lots of the charms had interactivity - an openable tiny new testament, wheels which span on a pram. They do have a proper amount of charm for a charm bracelet! Guest
Just tell OH its the shop thats PACKED with blokes buying Christmas pressies. Just a note for anyone who knows somone travelling - BA have pandora bracelets on both long haul and short haul flights £95 and come with some charms. I was going to ask Mum to get me one on her flight home from NYC but I prefer the one on short hauls - it has charms I like better so I'm going to drop very heavy hints between now and our flight on 20th December. I love my fake bracelet but I'd love a real one even more!
