Griffin
Woohoo! My new camera has arrived and although I'm supposed to put it away until Christmas I told Mr Griffin we couldn't do that because I'd miss out on two valuable weeks photos of the chicks So here are my babies Angelina, two weeks old today: Her brother Percy: Bryn, who for some reason is chocolate brown with beige stripes instead of the expected black & white Cuckoo Maran colour And finally chubster Edward:

Griffin
If it wasn't so foggy I'd be out taking pics of the Modern Game. Maybe I'll just have to bring them in and put them on the sofa too

Griffin
Bryn is my favourite. He was the last one out and I was so thrilled to see him. He's very sweet. Angelina is the most confident, always leaps out when I open the door of their cage. Edward is the trouble maker Percy is a quiet boy and he utterly adores his sister. Griffin
Five weeks old and going through that gangly stage They moved out of the kitchen to the garage yesterday because they needed more room for their teenage legs. They've got a heat lamp but I still checked on them a billion times but they seem to be ok, they're very well feathered for their age anyway. I'm chuffed to bits with them Bryn on the left, Edward, Angelina hiding behind her brother Percy: Angelina spent about 30 seconds outside whilst in transit to her new quarters and had a face like thunder due to the cold Both Angelina & Percy have two bent toes on one foot. The deformity is identical on both of them and although it wasn't apparent at birth it's become more obvious over time. I guess as they're related it's a hereditary problem. Not so much a problem for Percy because he's destined for the table at some point but I do worry about Angelina. It doesn't seem to bother her, she's not lame, and I hope it carries on not bothering her. Has anyone else seen anything similar?
The Dogmother
Do you have any close-ups of the bent toes Griffin? I once had an araucana/poland cross who had some bent toes, it never bothered her one iota.
Griffin
Once it warms up enough to take them out of the garage I'll take better pics of their feet.
