Seems to be only you Midlanders - don't you dare come up north - I had serious proper flu for almost 6 weeks las Xmas, and was poorly the Xmas before. Fingers crossed, nothing so far. I am quite sure that it is something to do with the stress of the build up to Xmas, your immune system holds up untio youstart to wind down for Xmas, and then the lurgy takes hold. BeckyBoo Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 Well it's definitely down south too, small boy had a cold for nearly 3 weeks and coughed and coughed, now eldest has a hacking cough, I've come over all hot and cold and have a croaky throat. Fingers crossed the norovirus stays away, that's just horrible, hope you're better now Claret. Thank goodness all parties are over (although Younger Son missed his Air Cadets black tie do last night) I must be develping second sight- all my shopping was done by November!
