Does anybody ever feel.......Part # 13.

Hope the weather holds for you Lewis. Sun trying to come out lots of blue patches. You can still see your breath, but not too bad. :D

Debs is having a lie-in on her new mattress - luxuriating!

Had an eventful morning. Squirt is too busy chasing mini chickens and pigeons to have any brekkers, so I pounced on her and bunged her in the eglu run by herself for a while - she did go for my legs prior so I am being mean right back. I left her there clucking for a couple of minutes while the others all ran to watch and then I let her out again. She had a nibble at brekkers and chased everyone again. So she went into the sinbin for 10 minutes and I stayed out with her (watching my breath float away while sitting on the bench). So far so good and she has filled her face with brekkers. I don't know what's got into her lately - stroppy mare. Well yes I do, she's jealous - but having a go at me - and she went for Erin yesterday too. She'll end up like her brother!!!!

Oh and we have another ratty, so all the food is up here at the moment.

Morning all :D Have a good day in London Lewis :) Simon is working in London today and Adam has gone with him, so it's nice and quiet here

I had to laugh yesterday afternoon. We we're all cleaning the girls out and Simon decided it would be easier to take the plastic dog kennel apart. He didn't bank on the Vorwerks trying to help him rebuild it. They kept getting inside it when he was trying to put the sides up and then Heidi flew onto the roof when he was trying to get it on straight making all the sides fall in again :lol: He did say a few rude words to her! From being really flighty and timid they are now becoming very nosey and friendly :D

They're such pretty birdies too. :D We've just swapped internet explorer to Google Chrome. Apparently even the French government are saying "don't use internet explorer use the Google Chrome for safety" - Murray has been increasingly disturbed by the internet explorer reports. I've never heard of it and like every other piece of new technology it all goes in one ear and out the other - quicker if the wind is blowing through there!

It's made the reply box go a different shade around the edge and the little ticks underneath are bluey and not black. Oooooooh - and it underlined my Oooooh toooooo! Pwetty! Gosh spellcheck. How to keep Kerry occupied . . .

Morning all :D

Is it THAT time already

Well, it took me longer to get to sleep than usual last night and I didn't fall asleep until about midnight. However from midnight until 6am (when Henry wanted to go out) I had the best nights sleep ever  I even went back to sleep for a few hours when we came back upstairs.

I usually wake up several times during the night, and I didn't last night, so I feel really rested, and best part, no lower back pain this morning :D I can't remember the last time I woke up without my back being in pain

I LOVE my new mattress :dance::dance:

Also, after clearing out Henrys "stuff" yesterday, I thought I treat him to a new bed too, so after the game yesterday I called to Argos and bought him an Orthopaedic bed, I thought that would help with his arthritis, certainly better than sleeping on pillows. He seems to like it :P

Off down Grandads now, and then calling in on my friends, and then its an afternoon of cooking and quality chook time :D

See you later crazy peeps :P

I got sent down the shops to get some potatoes. I took a shortcut (instead of main road) through the park on a bridleway. Bridleway...More like a BMX track, all muddy with dips, hills and puddles (more like ponds) Cycled through it, quite fun, although I got very muddy. Almost ran over some blokes little dog (who ran straight in front of me) I would have ran over it, but it might of damaged my bike...

Disclaimer: I would never ran over some poor innocent dog/cat/other animal etc

Freda!

London was good :D Went to the Tate - some if the stuff is not art!

There was an exhibition called 'No ghost just a shell' ... it was this manga woman thing, sitting there watching it and I suddenly went really goosebumpy and really cold :eh::anxious: It was wierd ... just wierd!

Some of the other ones were like wierd 'explicit' things and without going into too much

detail, chopping off ... :?

I made a paper hat with these little kids and wore it round :D Got some funny looks but I didn't have to keep asking to get through

Went to Neds noodles for lunch  We went last time we went + tis good, kind of behind the London Eye down a side street :)

Glad you had fun in London Lewis :D

Phil and I love going to modern art gallery's and pretend we know what we are talking about, but then we will also stand infront of stairs or lifts and do the same. Say things like "This is a fascinating piece. I wonder what the artist was thinking, as it reminds me of triumph through difficult times to rise to a new level...." You get the idea

We did that

Brother, mother + father were really serious and looking round + I was going round with bro's (well mine aswell ) friend dissecting it stupidly - I don't see how a strip of canvas with a bit of purple chalk and yellow was can be about the menopause but we still discussed it for 10 mins :D

We were standing there amazed at the building site and a few other people came to have a look!:lol:

Today for tea we had boiled ham, roasted jerusalem artichokes and braised red cabbage. It was yum yum yum........ However.......... the veg choice whilst tasty was not an ideal choice for Phil, you do not want to be in my living room now :anxious: The smell coming from his sofa

He has said that he can never have that veg combo ever again.... and I tend to agree

:lol::lol::lol:

My turn not to batten the hatches tonight then!

Glad you enjoyed your trip Lewis - I suppose the Tate was a success - you are still talking about the "art". When I last went (and I really don't like it), I'm afraid I say "that's rubbish, that's rubbish and that's junk", but they had a Monet exhibition and I said "Now that's ART". Although they did have an upside down piano that mechanically "broke" into separate pieces and gradually put itself together again which was interesting, but I wouldn't call it art.

Did you see the projected image of a light switch? How fabulous - it must have taken ages to do, lots of thought and care - what tripe.

Now did someone mention a smallholding?

And after that little letting off steam (having been wound up earlier with a couple of brother emails), I am off to wash up the chicken bits that are in soak, wrap up some parcels for Ciaran to post and then off to bed.

Nighty night.

xxx

Nope :eh:

There was one that was completely red with a black strip down the middle done with a roller, and a blue one with a bit of yellow at the top - apparently the yellow 'gives depth to the piece' I really want to do one and try to sell it/exhibited just for the 's

Maybe chicken themed :think::wink:

There were adverts everywhere for Damien Hirst and Tracey Emmin which I really wanted to see, she's not really an artist, but still wanted to see it  and I think some of what he does is really interesting + 8)

But the exhibition closed last week  typical?

Morning all! Everybody seems to have had good weekends. I could do with a new mattress, but got other things I need the money for at the moment.

This weekend seems to have gone really fast, not really done much. It was the first anniversary of my Grampy dying, so went to Church. It also happened to be confirmation so the Bishop was there, someone I went to school with was being 'done', he's a Doctor now, although I think he's an optician, he rushed off after the service so didn't get to speak to him.

Hubby cooked us a yummy roast beef dinner for when I got home, then we went for a walk around our local lake. Oliver walked all the way for the first time, his little legs must've been tired by the time we got home. We had to call in the shop and buy choccie bars on the way back to keep us going :D
