Valkyrie
Hi peeps. Oooh Nessie is so pretty. The only time I have had anything to do with South Park was a present from my brother with Cartman on the outside of a tankard (with lifting lid - ooooooh). It had a button that, when pressed, said "I'm not fat I'm big boned". We are shepherd's pie-ing tonight. Has anybody been watching Modern Family? Last night's episode had to be paused several times because I was laughing so much and "Ooops, word censored!"ody could hear - it can be a little silly, and other times not quite as funny, but interesting concept. Space Chick
I watch Modern Family, and agree that last nights episode was great The whole thing with baby Lily, and then the Firemen, oh and the Baseball.... brilliant I think its a fabulous programme Well, I am waiting for my new mattress to be delivered (and no not because I broke my old one yesterday when I had my temper tantrum ) and they were meant to ring me by 9.30 and haven't rung It had better come this morning, as I have footie this afternoon, and you are meant to leave it for 12 hours in the room before you sleep on it, and we all know I can't stay up late
Valkyrie
Just as well you said it wasn't anything to do with the temper tantrum! Debs the psychopathic mattress murderer! I'm afraid Murray took offense to the bit in the programme with the kidney stones - why do you laugh even more at someone's pain? I couldn't help it - it was the normal talk with the groaning words towards the end of his sentences - by that time I couldn't see for tears and wheezing like Muttley! Oh and the firemen - and the new dads (and the firemen!) Just brilliant - yet nice. Again a family that I wouldn't mind being part of! Going to make a tea/coffee - anyone? Help yourselves. ClaireG
Debs. Is it a memory foam one? Just wonderd as you said it's meant to be left for 12 hrs. If it is then i bet you won't believe how comfy it is. It might feel a bit weird for the first few nights until you adjust to it and it adjusts to you. Had our first green egg for months this morning. Poppy my columbine has decided to lay again
Valkyrie
Good old Poppy! I now have visions of Debs jumping up and down on the new one! Murray's gone down the dump with Ciaran's old bed and paraphernalia. Plus some of our stuff. Apparently they have managed to recycle 78% of the stuff that goes there - so we think that's pretty good. Space Chick
Yey Poppy It is a memory foam one I had it in the Argos Sale, 60% off, should have been over £750, I had it for £310 It was a combined Christmas and Birthday present off in laws and my family (basically, they all got me Argos vouchers for Christmas and my birthday) there was a balance to pay, but we had loads of Sainsburys nectar points that went towards it. Only thing was, I took my old mattress off my bed, and have noticed that Henry has accumulated quite a collection of items under the bed (he sleeps under the bed on some pillows). I found...... socks, tights, a Practical Poultry magazine (one with an article on dispatching open, so I don't know what he's plotting ), a packet of indigestion tablets, a massage lotion bottle, several cuddly toys, some Spanish homework that I had lost, an old shoe, a notepad, a pen, a large piece of wood and an eye mask He has now gone under the bed, and has come out looking rather disgusted, I'm sure its because he's lost all his "stuff"

Redwing
Hi all That new mattress sounds lovely Debs Lewis sometimes I forget you are a teenager then you remind me by saying something (like how much teenage rubbish is under your bed) I'm tired. I spent today building more indoor chicken pens up the stable then came in and lit the fire, a real fire makes you tired, I'm nearly ready for bed

Valkyrie
Poor Henry. Not much room under my bed - just the dust filling the small gap between. Ciaran has bought up Ikea in Southampton and has asked to be picked up from GF's house tomorrow because he doesn't think he'll be able to carry it all home on the train. Sometimes I wonder where his academic brain went to - he never uses it any more! One bedside table, one duvet, duvet covers and pillow cases (red) and goodness knows what else. The red will look nice with the yellow walls and blue carpet and the new black leather bed. I'm going on the computer rant thingy in a minute because I have to get it off my chest before beddy byes. So enjoy your nice sleepytime Debs.
Lewis
I'm well growed up me! I have too much money in my room that should really go in the bank, but I know if it goes in it'll just be spent on ebay straight away! At least I'm a bit more controlled with cash Brothers gf's mother came round earlier + I've been saying for ages they should get chickens .... I forced her to look at the Go and she likes it ... "but we have foxes" - its fox proof ... they were sent home with a brochure and the eglu leaflet I think she really wants to get them and she doesn't work do is in all day - she knows the forum exists, but I think its really wierd to have people you know from 'outside chickens' on here Lewis has planted the seeds about the shows coming up - "I'm not going that far", then my aunt said its not too far and that they'd come with us, which means we have to go Indian takeaway for tea, had butter chicken but what I got wasn't that and there was like 2 pieces of chicken in it

Lewis
Distraught - She also offered my uncles help to build the WIR what with dads back and he works at B&Q so can get us 20% off as long as he buys it all I think Moreton in the Marsh will be the one we go to, but its really far away, so we'll have to so to another before hand Also said we need to get some more hybrids for eggs - mother, "well you're going in a few weeks for that course aren't you?" .... You should have seen fathers face! I don't think it'll happen I think I forgot to say, when we went to get the chicken food t'other day theres now a poster of Claret up - "that's Clare!" Brother, "It says ... " He didn't think I new her and if I did, why she'd be on a chicken poster
Valkyrie
I did that with a magazine - my mum was reading her newspaper (or doing her puzzles) and she gave me a funny look over the top of her specs. It's Clare I tell you! Look. Poor woman - she still knows how to humour her little daughter. She also knows how to say "you don't want that, now put the sweeties down". See you can live half a century to have your old fogey mum tell you off for picking sweeties off the counter. Vows to try not to do that with own offspring.
