BarbaraJ
Don't have a composter and have had 5, now got 7 chickens. We have a brown bin which i can put it in or people take it for their allotments/gardens off freegle
chelsea
our poos/aubiose mixture goes into the brown bin with the garden waste. If we have a large load if OH completely cleans out the WIR we take it to our local allotment.
Saronne
Ask your local allotment society if they'd like regular deliveries (or they could collect!). Edit: Oops! crossed the post with a similar response! Saronne x
Chicken Shirl
Have you thought of getting a couple of large bins and layering the poo etc with bokashi bran. After two weeks in the bin you can dig it into your flowerbeds and Veggie garden. It's such an easy way to compost. You can add your kitchen waste as well. http://www.wigglywigglers.co.uk/shop/index.html?activesection_id=1&-session=shopper:53245429054063646EPqK1AD4AC6
Egluntyne
I put it on freegle and have a regular 'customer' who collects it for her allotment.
Falkor
I put it on freegle and have a regular 'customer' who collects it for her allotment. Same here....and my lady swaps the poo for brussell stalks and cabbages for the girls......ultimate recycling!!!
Olly
Don't waste it! I have three composters which I fill in rotation with kitchen waste, grass clippings in summer, soft garden wase and the contents of the Eglu poo trays etc. It makes fabulous compost, especially if you use aubiose/hemcore - I'm currently using woodchip and that is going to take a lot longer to rot down, and I'm already regretting that decision. Last year I was able to fill my new raised beds with lovely compost, and the 'oldest' composter will be ready to empty this spring. A friend has just asked me for a bag of chicken poop to put on his compost heap as an 'activator' because it speeds things up, so offer it to your neighbours/friends or Freecycle it! ChrisEllis
I'd say we do the same, but i pick the poo out of their house so that their bedding can last an extra week instead of just turning it and poo is mixed with it. Then i put the poo in the compost bin and we add their bedding every now and again or we just bag it up to rot down >< Dont put too much bedding in the compost bin...we found it makes it dry and doesn;t rot quick enough
legend21
my composter is full, waiting to go on flower beds, but I wish we had some freecyclers near us as I end up taking the aubiose and poo up to the dump as I have no more room for it J

legend21
I am going to phone the local council and find out if there is one because it is such a waste of good material thanks J
welovemarmite
Cleared out the run yesterday and put the aubiose and 'poo' on freecycle. I am on theborders of two freecycle areas. From one there has been no interest and from the other they haven't put it on!!! May have to take a drive down to some allotments during the week and see if i can find anyone who might want to take it off our hands... our two large compost bins are full.
