Grace is broody - again - and is now in the broody cage and she feels soooooo hot, hotter than she's ever felt in her previous broody incidents, but equally I don't want to dunk her in cold water in this weather Nyssa has managed to break into the fort knox (or so he thought) broad bean bed, and has been happily munching some broad bean plants I shouldn't laugh really Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm paranoid at the best of times! Get well soon Fred. Oooh you could grow a grape vine around the outside of the WIR and that will give you yummy grapes out of reach of the little monkeys, Claire. My lot have all been creating something chronic - Sioux is hogging the nest box. Nasty shower here aswell - all sunny again. I've cleaned some pots, I've planted some shrubs and I've sown seeds. And fired the hose at naughty girls yelling for no reason. My rhubarb has started growing - both of the plants (thought I'd lost one so well happy) and Murray has sawn the bottom off a couple of water containers so I can protect my woobub from being pecked and scratched to death (for the chooks health too). I KNOW Crystal Palace are the Eagles, I used to live near Selhurst Park when I lived in South London, and used to go out with a Palace supporter However, there is only 1 bird related nickname that will do, and that is the mighty Bluebirds, you can keep your swans and your robins, and your seagulls and your owls. OH suggested using a oil trip tray (like Halford sell for when you service car) as a "liner" for the barrell and then hopefully all you would need to do is pull the tray put, clean that and then sweep out the barrel Morning all! I am off back a few pages to catch up! Thanks for the idea. Think i'll have to measure and see what would fit. I was thinking maybe cat litter or paint tray might do it. I got the last one wrong because I couldn't concentrate. Not that I knew the answer anyway and it was a guess! I think we are off to ice hockey - might be tonight or tomorrow - haven't a clue. I didn't really want to go, but I'll be darned if I'm going to miss out again on something. Hopefully it's after the girls go to bed. Last game in the season too. Oh I hope they have a punch up again - now that's fun. Another time the ref got squashed, fell over and injured his elbow - hear the cheer go round the rink!
