Sooo much pooping

Do you have feeling when you are trawling through the internet wondering which company can be trusted and wouldn't it be good if you could get some feedback on good ones and then it strikes you "Why not have a look and see if some clever omleteers can offer any advice?"

 

So.... We are planning on going skiing with another family next February half term. All the children are teens so we count as eight adults . We went a couple of years ago with the same family and did most of the organising ourselves:- booked the apartment; the flights and the hire car. I was just wanting to be a bit lazy and perhaps get a package. The only real requirement for the accommodation is that it is ski in and ski out and we would like somewhere fairly high so that snow cover is more likely.

 

I just wondered whether anyone had had some really good experiences with any of the companies that sort this sort of thing out?

Many years ago ( otherwise known as before LMW) when I could afford to go skiing, Mr W and I would use either Crystal or Neilson for our package hols, both very good.

 

My favourite resort was La Tania in France, ski to the door and right on the edge of a huge ski area ( we stayed at the Hotel Montana). Morzine is good too for much the same reasons.Both resorts (as far as I can remember)have snow cannons. Both resorts are within 12 hours driving of Calais (should that pesky volcano go beserk again).

 

LMW wants to go skiing next year too. I got some ski brochures and got a nasty shock at the prices!

Him indoors always uses Crystal Ski for his boarding trips - & goes to La Tania too, Mrs WM

 

Never has a bad word to say about them,although I do get a bit annoyed at all the emails with so called 'special offers' they keep sending,even though we have opted out
