Guest
I really miss the hills - and Dunstable Downs in particular. We used to walk at least 4 miles across the top of the Downs every single night after work -winter and summer. And at the weekends we always walked at least 12 miles minimum over the Downs past Whipsnade Zoo - so we got to see all the animals for free as you can walk right along the fences Happy fit and healthy days - strong as an ox!!! Norfolk is lovely for different reasons - and contrary to rumours, it's not all flat! And it's nice to be within an hours drive of the beautiful coast line. And its so quiet and peaceful
pips_pekins
I sometimes dog walk on the downs too. It is lovely up there. However would rather join you Dilly on the beach. We have spent many holidays in Norfolk and love it. Snoxy I will be looking out for a young yellow lab and a procession of children whenever I am on the downs from now on
