scubababe
Well left a 30' degree Malta this morning and was pleasantly surprised when we landed in Manchester. Bit cloudy BUT dry!! and it's just got better as the day went on. It's been sunny and pleasant and might even get the lawns mowed tomorrow
The Dogmother
It has been lovely here, clear blue skies to start with clouds coming in later but mostly sunny and warm in the sun but the cool breeze has meant that it was rather chilly in the shade. LolaLayla
Have to agree DM. Last night the hail was terrible and today we seemed to have a monsoon although it is dry and bright at the moment.
The Dogmother
Well, we have it back now 4deg at 6am this morning with a really bitter wind. Phil tells me that they are forecast snow or sleet showers 'on the tops' up in the Chilterns where he lives.... my garden was just starting to think that summer was on the way. The Dogmother
It's getting darker so you may be right... what's the betting that I get soaked on my dog walk this evening?! I do love storms though and I can't wait for one now that I've had the old fireplaces in the bedrooms opened up again.
Duncan08
now that I've had the old fireplaces in the bedrooms opened up again. Although possibly not a good thing for me I might never get out of bed.
chickencam
I am sure that we were told that it would be 17 degrees with sunny spells this weekend, it has been really cold, we have had the fire lit quite early both days and I didn't even thing about opening the greenhouse today. The forecast for later this week is 23 degrees and full sun, here's hoping.
Purplemaniacs
I have been judging at an archery tournament all day today in Leicester and it was freezing, despite lots of layers I was so cold, my hands were numb. But at least it didn't rain. I hope it warms up a bit soon. Chrissie
