Or in the same way as you might accidentally find yourself at a chickeny place when you just happen to be out for a drive. I'm envious Sarah, and I'm just vicariously enjoying the pleasures of thinking about, planning for, and getting newbies. Our bottom-of-the-pecking-order girl, Tilda, is somewhat physically disabled and gets badly picked on by the other 4. If I introduced new girlies, she'd still be at the bottom of the pecking order, only with a lot more girls pushing her about. She's such a little poppet, I just can't do that to her. I've decided to wait until she's gone (or some of the others have gone) before getting anymore. We'll be incubating shortly, and I've stopped myself looking for suppliers of fertile eggs for the breeds I'd like. The Dogmother Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 I took advantage of the break in the rain/sleet/snow to take the dogs for a walk around the reservoir... blimey, that wind was strong and cold I walked round it with tears streaming down my face in the cold, despite being muffled up.
