My bulbs are starting to flower birds are feeding off my many feeders and collecting sticks for their nests - i'm just hoping the weather will settle so i can plant my spuds. I may furminate the old boy today(Dylan not the OH ), He has been trying to shed his winter coat since Feb but i haven't brushed him just in case it goes cold again. I was going to furminate (new verb) Cyrus this weekend, at least the big jessie has his warm jumper if it gets cold again. he has a double, velour type coat. chickencam Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 We had rain and strong cold wind yesterday, until about noon and then the sun came out and although the wind was still cold it was a lovely afternoon and boiling in the office just from the sun streaming in through the windows. Last week my neighbour laid some lawn turf, I pointed out that it was a bit ambitious seeing as we had a hosepipe ban and it would need lots of water... now he's having the last laugh. lillybettybabs Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 I had to drive up to Wolverhampton on Tuesday and Wednesday, The weather was terrible and visibility on the motorways was poor. Lots of middle lane hoggers and some posh plonkers speeding in their sporty cars. Bit dryer today thankfully, garden water logged and the dogs aren't helping it.
