I was out at 8.30 to get some gardening done because I still think it may rain later, it's becoming more overcast, but hoping to get another hour's work in before it starts. Cleaned the girls out while I could and did a spot of gardening at one point it tried to rain on us a bit but it was short lived. Put the girls in for the night and it was raining again. No stars, just cloud at the mo. Oh well, at least one part of the garden looks better. Actually the aquilegias are looking terrific this year! We narrowly missed the thunder, which we could hear in the distance, and we had torrential rain at 10pm last night but it's nice this morning... 9deg first thing and pretty bright. Every time I grab stinky's lead, the heavens open. Poor thing, she is getting very confused. Eventually realised it is not going to stop so have taken her out anyway but not enjoyable in this weather.
