Chicken shack
Not sure if this will work but here is a link to a new chicken house. http://cubeme.com/blog/2010/09/29/the-nogg-modern-chicken-coop/
Ain't Nobody Here
Err, not sure if I like it or not. It's aesthetically pleasing but I'd like to see the inside (and how easy it is to clean ). They're all jumping on the Omlet bandwagon, aren't they . They'll never beat the Eglu, in my opinion .
Snowy
It is certainly lovely to look at - no run though, would look good on a shelf in the corner of a WIR. Would like to see more pics of it
jill the potter
Cooo that looks beautiful - doesn't say how much though
bucklamp
Hmm, didn't realise that our was monotonous. It certainly does look good new but how well will it look in a year or two?
chickiepiggies
i doubt it wouldn't take long for a couple of very hungry foxes to dismantle it!! i'll be sticking with my cube..
alet_chicken
There's a picture of the inside here. Not sure more than two of my girls would fit in it at the same time if I'm honest.
Tweety
It was featured in one of the weekend supplements and, if I remember correctly, it is priced at around £1500!
Chicken shack
Good grief I thought I spent enough on the cube.
Egluntyne
Can't say I care for it all that much. Whilst stylish, it doesn't have much going on inside......and no run.
Angie
I don't like this....the wood will swell in the damp, the inside looks worryingly squished for 2 birds never mind 4, the metal work on the drop down pop hole looks like an accident waiting to happen,..the ventilation at the top is okay but where does the air come in at the bottom...and where is the droppings tray?.........I know i am hard to please.. i will stay with my cube. The Dogmother
A bit over-designed if you ask me.
Plum
Won't judge until they give dimensions but OH would probably prefer it filled with beer.
jill the potter
Won't judge until they give dimensions but OH would probably prefer it filled with beer. or egg nogg ?!?!?! (sorry - it is Christmas)
Eggasperated
Where's the nest box - the top shelf just looks flat as if the eggs could just roll off
lillybettybabs
How do you clean it out? For that amount of money i would expect it heated, self cleaning and a flat screen tv built in!
sari
A case of style over substance, if you ask me.
jill the potter
It was featured in one of the weekend supplements and, if I remember correctly, it is priced at around £1500! What? That's taking 'designer' too far. I wonder if whoever buys it will have 'designer' chickens who do masses and masses of 'designer' poo!!!!!! Chicken shack
If they did we could mix it in our clay to make designer clay.
jill the potter
Mmmmm been thinking about a new line of work..maybe instead of well made and unique - which doesn't sell at the moment - I could go for ridiculously over-priced and useless!!! green
Doesn't look very practical.
beach chick
it was in the Sunday Times yesterday as well. with a comment along the lines of "it will pay for itself by the 8000th egg" - which I thought was quite apt. I do rather like the look of it though, I can see it looking fabulous in a town garden. but not v. practical.
Tweety
I have just found the supplement which featured the Nogg, and I was wrong about the price - it is £1,950! The perfect Christmas present for the hen who has everything!
