Bramble
I sort of am (haven't actually joined yet, but check their message boards regularly). It's very good 'cos you can use a recipe builder to calculate points etc for you, but from the message boards, it seems like lots of the WW material has wrongly calculated the propoints, the motto seems to be, if the value of something seems too good to be true, it probably is and the advice is to use the calculator if you're in any doubt. Omletina Kyckling
hello my name is Omletina and I'm ridiculously obese and am trying to do something about it! I got a Wii Fit for christmas and am working my way through the EA Active 30 day challenge. My main aim is to get fitter and losing weight will be the added bonus. I'm trying to be good with what I eat too, so we'll see what happens. I don't weigh myself as Ii think how clothes fit means much more. My coat fastened at the top this week, and it hasn't for months so I must be going the right way!
craftyhunnypie
Oh Omletina - you always look fab & so glam - give over! But you'll get lots of support here anyways. I've used a lot of my propoints today on a mixed grill out. But it's all accounted for & I won't have another meal today now - didn't eat that until 3.30ish. I'll just have some pineapple if I want something later & to be honest my diet pepsi fills me up too. Out again tomorrow, but it's just grilled steak & a jacket with salad. Thank god! I'll have my porridge & fruit for brekkie & my vitamix zero propoint soup for lunch so will be fine. It doesn't feel like a diet because I still live & go out. With the bonus of losing weight. I have found a yummy pudding - Shape chocolate desserts 3 propoints each & very droolworthy! On offer at the Co - op & come in milk chocolate, white chocolate & caramel. Oh & another snack is Aldi savoury oat bites ( near the biscuits). A box of 5 packets. Each packet is 3 propoints. They are a bit like Nairns. I got the cheesy chilli ones. sage
Hi Emma Whats in the vitamix zero propoint soup. Just hasd a look on the WW web site and cannot find it. Having a look throgh my old WW books today but having to repoint all the recipes. Will plan all meals for next week and go do a big shop in the morning. If I dont have treats in the house I cannot eat them. Hubby will be well peed off when he finds the bikky tin & baking tins empty but he could do to loose a few lbs as well Sage
craftyhunnypie
Vitamix is my blender. Zero propoint soup consists of.. Carrots ( about 4 or 5depending on size) Tomatoes ( can of chopped or fresh) Red pepper salt & pepper bit of cayenne pepper bit of ground ginger 2 vegetable Oxo cubes Water ( fill up to about 3 quarters of the vitamix jug). Then I blend for about 7 minutes & it comes out piping hot & ready to eat. Very filling. Emma.x
LolaLayla
Hi Just looking at this thread as I like so many others have put on a few lbs over the hols . I am always looking for ways to eat more healthily and wondered about the soup makers like Vitamix. I had thought of the Cusinart one (I didn't know about Vitamix til I saw it mentioned) but then thought I may just use it for a while and put it with all the other gadgets I have bought in the cupboard!! What do others think?

Clash City Rocker
2lb down and back on track this week. I've been given a "new goal" although I've been maintaining my target weight/gold member (13st 6lb) since October 2010. Can I lose 50lb in total by Easter. I'm currently at 45lb.(49lb lose will make me under 13 stone and I'll get another sticker) !!! My group (which is organised through my GP surgery) have been offered 12 weeks swimming for £12.00, starting from the beginning of February at our local swimming pool. This is aimed at encouraging the folks who don't like the gym, (which we get for £10.00 per month).
