My nearish neigbours have just asked me if I would like their 2 tier rabbit hutch for a broody coop - needs a bit of work but it will be perfect

When you have a hen in a broody coop or rabbit hutch - presumably you have a ladder so they can get down from the hutch and feed/poo etc? How does this work once the chicks have hatched? Do you need to lift the hen out a few times a day and remove the ladder so the chicks don't fall out?

I have a feeling this is a very silly question but I'm sure you won't mind.

I had Nugget in a 2 tier hutch last year when she hatched Orville the duckling. They were fine in it :D
