Chucky Mama
Had a good walk this morning in sunshine but it has been pouring since 2pm. The dog was asking to go out for a pee but when I opened the door she took one look at the rain and decided to cross her legs
The Dogmother
It's been raining heavily since about 3pm walked the dogs round the reservoir this evening - am now reduced to looking for flattish walks that aren't too wet/flooded - my hands were cold when we finished and my waterproof trousers have sprung a leak. Cyrus is happy though; he had his first physio session as a case study this evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think he especially liked the sound of the rain on their conservatory roof. angeluk69
More rain here this morning...it's getting depressing now I don't know who hates it more me or the dog. I just to hang some washing out and get on with the wilderness that was my garden!

superkitty
Ditto - my garden has gone MAD and there doesn't seem to have been any break in the rain so that I can get to grips with it! The lawns need cutting as well..my neighbours will be tutting and muttering (everyone but us has regulation half-inch-tall lawns which are cut every 4 or 5 days like clockwork ) behind their net curtains. Groovychook
We've got high white cloud this morning, so it's not quite as dark as it has been... Still raining though
chickencam
We have chinks of blue and sunny spells at the moment, not looking too good for out trip to London tomorrow though.
The Dogmother
Heavy rain yesterday evening and most of last night, it had stopped this morning (briefly) but is drizzling again now. Air pressure is dropping through the floor.
merlina
It's absolutely pouring here - has been all morning I'm off work at the moment recovering from an operation and had hoped some light gardening would cheer me up through my recuperation - there have been precisely two half days when it hasn't poured or at least drizzled heavily in the past fortnight Strangely the hens don't seem to mind getting soaked - at least they don't seem to go and hide anywhere to avoid it
The Dogmother
Warm and muggy here in the sun but the big, dark clouds are gathering.

LolaLayla
Our weather has been dry and sunny over the past few days. Long may it continue
The Dogmother
After initial rain it's nice enough now but still cloudy. Off to clean out the chooks and bunnies, hopefully after that the lawn will be dry enough to cut, it's like a field out there although not as long as LBB's paddock. rachel19
It's hideous here today - our back garden is just so waterlogged (clay ). It is going to take weeks to dry out enough to cut the grass - luckily the two bunnies are happy to brave torrential rain to trim the tops of the grass for us so its not too bad and they look all clean and fluffy afterwards too! merlina
the weather forecast predicted a dry day with 'light rain' much later this evening The day did indeed start dry - but now there is a veritable monsoon ; sheets of rain have been pouring for 30 minutes Fed up with this - The whole garden is a swamp (and we don't have clay soil!) The Dogmother
Managed to get the lawn cut (just) and got soaked in the process, it has been raining solidly for about 20 minutes now. 2nd soaking of the day... ho hummm .... and I still haven't given the dogs their long walk
