Raina
Thanks Well after my first chick died I was devastated, then lady lay died and I took it quite hard she died in my arms, she also died on the anniversary of my cats sudden death so I told my mum after Orakiah I'm not having anymore as I didn't think I would get that upset over chickens. But we had to get another because Orakiah was lonely. Once Orakiah went to rainbow bridge we gave my cousin Astrid, she is now living with ducks, hens, cockerels, chicks and is even "married" to a little Serama lol I might one day get back into chicken keeping but not any time soon, I miss having them. suebee
What a beautiful, clear close up, and a lovely girl. Sorry to hear you had such a sad experience. It's hard to be brave when they die isn't it. Hope you enjoy keeping chickens again one day though.
