doctors girls Posted July 17, 2013 Share Posted July 17, 2013 As told in an earlier post i lost rose and sj the 2 sussex in may but due to holidays and other things planned i could not any new friends for martha till last sunday who has coped very well being on her own so i went to a place in huddersfield called hinchclifes and these are what we came home with 1speckledy,1bluebell and a black star they have seem to settled in well they put them selves to bed on a night and we think the black star is already laying as we have had egg a day darkish brown in colour but small in size Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

doctors girls Posted July 19, 2013 Author Share Posted July 19, 2013 martha has coped very well with her new friends and this is the first time i have done intros and i dont nave the space for seperating them so we let martha free range whilst we put the 3 new hens in the WIR and then introduce her to them she walked around allot and made some noise there has been a couple of little incidents nothing bad though and when they free range together there is the odd chase round but the funny thing was the first night when i had to put them to bed because martha climbed up the ladder and blocked the entrance door to the eglu like a doorman on a nightclub the statement being this is my home my bed and youre not coming in Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
