Alternatives to Centerparcs in England and Wales

Recommended Posts

Hello all

Can anyone recommend resort type places in England/Wales like Centerparcs only cheaper? We have 3 kids aged 15,13 and 10 so would want a good pool and lots of activities - sports and go-ape type. Also preferably somewhere you can take a dog.

We are in Hampshire but would travel to an extent.

Thanks.

Sandyballs in the New Forest!

It's just up the road from me. I've not been but my sister loves it. It isn't under cover like a lot of centre parcs is so can be more weather dependent, but it is just outside of the New Forest for lots of good walkies and then pub lunches and dinners :D

I've been to Sandyballs which is quite good but there's not (from memory) a great deal for the age group you have.

I don't know if the The Manor Hotel will be better.

Possibly Warmwell if they like dry slope skiing.

Have you thought about a featherdown farm holiday? Very hands on & back to nature, but comfortable & quite something else!

I would LOVE to do one of those! They look so cosy and warm :D
