The Weather Thread # 8

Friday rain was really horrible - thunderstorm first thing and I'd just got back indoors after letting the girls out. They raced up the garden into the greenhouse. And then it was stair rods until the evening when the sun popped out for a while. Houses along the A30 had put sandbags out in their driveways - guess they had a bit of a flood there!

Saturday was a bit damp to start but we went for a walk and it was gorgeous. Rained when we got home though - and showery. Bit like that today but less sunshine!

We had a lovely afternoon and evening on Sunday after a very wet weekend.

Yesterday was baking hot and sunny but very humid. We could hear the thunder rumbling over Dartmoor but it must have travelled further east than us. There were a few light showers early evening which freshened everything up and the garden smelt divine 8)

It's cooler and cloudier this morning but dry. A few blue patches to be seen but think we're winding down to another wet day tomorrow.

Gorgeous day today, quite chilly first thing and if you were in the shade. Spent the afternoon near the free stage at the Cheltenham jazz festival, good music, chilled atmosphere, good food stalls and a couple of nice beverages :D

Then walked home via the pub beer garden until the sun moved and it went chilly again, glad we made the most of the weather, looks as though it will be much more overcast over the next couple of says.
