Jenthelibrarian Posted April 23, 2014 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Sadly I had to take Josephine, my sweet little red hen, to the vet's today and come home without her. She was our very first chook, laid her first egg the day she came home with us and was always nice-natured and busy. I know I've done the kindest thing but it was hard. Her companion Tilly will miss her, I know so I dare say I'll be back soon for intro advice because the garden won't be the same without a couple of chatty chooks keeping me company.
