craftyhunnypie
Wow Dogmother, Rosie looks stunning! I remember her when she was younger, she seems to have grown up all of a sudden. Where did time go? I remember her with you at some farm, was it Jimmy's? At some Xmas fayre, buying some chocolate hedgehogs? I wasn't there, but I remember the photos! You must feel mighty proud of her, what with the accident & everything! Her & Drew make a lovely couple! Emma.x
The Dogmother
That may have been at Jimmy's Emma; we used to volunteer for the BHWT and helped out on their stand at the very first open day Jimmy did. It's her graduation this afternoon - when did that become the thing to do?! She's in the sort of foul mood that only a 16 year old girl can be in, and has stormed off to meet with her friends prior to the event. Sometimes I am proud of her, other times, I wish I didn't know her!
Groovychook
I don't know how I missed this thread! She looks really lovely and serene. Such an understated, elegant dress So sorry her mood isn't matching today!

The Dogmother
'assertive is an interesting name for it - she slammed her bedroom door so hard that it's now off its hinges!
Plum
Oh dear. At that age my son thumped a door with a Bakelite clip in his hand and made a hole through the door If it's any comfort he's 34 now and a great lad

gavclojak
I think, like most parents, there have been times when, however much I love my three kids. I haven't liked then very much. I think all we can do is give them rules to follow, good moral, set boundaries, and most importantly stuck to them and hope for the best. My friends thought I was horrible strict with mine when they were growing up but I have been rewarded with three great adult children who are self sufficent and could manage without me (god willing they won't need to) My two that's still live at home (23 & 26 )are expected to call if they are going to be late home....even if it is ten minutes and they still do! Unfortunately my stupid body won't let me sleep until they are home....although I do try!!!
