Chickabee Posted June 30, 2014 Share Posted June 30, 2014 Is it ok to keep another hen in with a broody who is laying on fertilized eggs. My partridge silkie and pekin frizzle are best friends. They may be OK together now but I don't know how they will get on when the chicks hatch. The broody may go all defensive and may not. I'd be temped to risk it and keep a very close eye on things.
