Well done that boy Max 1st time dad Oh they are SOOOOooooooooo cute I had forgotten just how diddy they are when they first hatch Not sure on colours........... errrr huh hum miller30 help.....please?? Dad is millefleur, the mums are black and a gold partridge X millefleur. I think the black and yellow babies (Martha's) maybe mottled??? The 2 browny coloured babies are Polly's ........some kind of partridge colouring?? mimi5 Posted April 14, 2015 Author Share Posted April 14, 2015 Thanks miller 30 I knew you'd have a good idea Your pekins are beautiful I was hoping Martha would be mottled, she has one white feather on her foot (bought hatching eggs-said mottled) and her hatchling mate Florence was a black birchen! I adored her, she was bold and sweet & Martha's buddy (sadly lost her to sour crop with a heavy moult) would be lovely to have another It will be interesting to see how they turn out Am I right that the mottling colouring comes out better after a year/moult?
