Christian
I haven't posted for ages here, but I'm still crafty Managed to fracture my wrist (tint fracture, no plaster), but still managed to sew a quilt Here it is, not quite finished, but laid out, ready to pin together to quilt -
Olly
Ouch, that sounds a bit painful! Well done on the quilt, looks lovely - they must be quite large squares, that looks very effective. That bag is great, Kinsk, I'm not sure I'd have the patience to do all those rows! I've been busy making stuff but not managed to post any pics lately. I have tried selling handmade stuff and as Bluekarin says, people just don't appreciate the work that goes into something. I have a friend who makes lace and she did some beautiful Christmas decorations last year but hardly sold any - mass-produced stuff is so cheap and available. Cat tails
Absolutely true! But on the other hand, I often see mass produced things and think: I can do that myself and pay half the price and make it look much better!
Blackrocksrock
Love the quilt Christian, with a fractured wrist too!! The next bit is the tricky bit.

Blackrocksrock
That's very good Blackrocksrock I do like sheep and think what you've made is fab. Thank you - you should try it it is so easy and very therapeutic. Does not take long - Lots of practice needed though = we have a lady runs day courses locally so I may just book a course but its £85 which I thought a bit steep,
Plum
It is for a day Best see what's included. Love your sheep felt they're great. Lesley on here held a workshop for myself and a friend, we had a lovely day but it's a bit far for you. You can learn a lot on youtube and Rosiepink's website is good for tutorials link
Blackrocksrock
Thank you for the link - would have loved to join you for the workshop - yes its for the day and the kit is included although I have loads of wool from the place I bought mine - she gave me enough for about 20 pictures I think!. What have you felted? ( apart from wooly jumpers I have not done any before!)
Plum
We did a felted swap a while ago. It would be fun to do that again in the new year. I've done wet felting and used it in pictures and appliqué. Then felted stones as per Rosie's website, they make good paperweights. Also done some needle felting, picture and Kirsty Allsops Robin. Other fibres look great when caught in when wet felting. You're making me want to have another go
Blackrocksrock
ooh not done the wet felting - this is dry needle felting - sounds good your way and the felted stones look good as does the soap.
Valkyrie
Love the piccy. Not picked up where I left off with the wabbit. Just got stuck into sewing again.
Olly
Love the felting - I saw this being demonstrated at the Knitting & Stitching Show this year and I was tempted, but I have enough UFOs to populate a solar system ... I'm still knitting mermaid tails at the moment, must be done before Christmas.
