HarrisonFamily
At our local pool they had the giant inflatables out for a free session (the ones you climb over under round and slide down).....not sure why but it was really quiet so I decided to have a few attempts..... Well after falling off at the start, massive belly flop after being catapulted off the tree, hitting the bottom of the pool several times after some seriously splashy falling off I eventually managed it after 40 minutes - I even got a round of applause from several people....I was at least 25 years older than everyone else on there but it was so much fun !!!! However, I ache like crazy already I have discovered muscles that I did not even know existed and I am sure the staff at the pool are watching the cctv footage laughing alot !!!! I think I will have to hire it out ....
chickencam
Sounds fun good for you, you are never too old to have fun. When we were away last week in St Andrews, we were walking along the coast path and they have small gym area just next to the beach. There was a group of 4 pensioners using the equipment with their tongues firmly in their cheeks, they were all at least 70 and one of them read the sign that said you should be over 12 to use the equipment which made them all laugh. It was a heart warming sight. They have a similar thing at the pool we go to during the school holidays. I am not brave enough, I have an annoying phobia about having my head underwater. My youngsters loved it though.

Valkyrie
Life's too short to worry about what people think. You had fun and that's the best of it. Years ago a friend had a bouncy castle that she hired out so we had it for number one son's birthday. I just had to test it out of course. Yup, it did find muscles that I never knew I had (also was a fair bit thinner then too) and while I have a disc problem it didn't affect that at all! Fun fun fun! HarrisonFamily
I have hired out a bouncy castle for a week each summer for the children I look after and it really is the best work out ever....and so much fun I even let the children on occasionally !!!!
