patsylabrador
A quick recommendation if you live nearby and have children. The children aren't actually necessary, we went without any and it was magical. They're doing 'twas the night before Christmas and there are hundreds of little knitted mice to find, loads of log fires and Christmas trees. I loved it. Also this weekend they have a Vicorian Market which was very nicely done the whole event was cosy and enjoyable. I highly recommend getting there at 10am when it opens, we left a around midday and the car park was full and sadly some people were being turned away. I was told it's the first time Hughenden have done this so they must be pleased with the response. We're NT members so I don't know how much it costs. Groovychook
Sounds lovely. Wish it was close to us, my little man would love the mouse hunt!
patsylabrador
It was lovely Groovychook, lots of happy and absorbed children. I felt quite jealous of them, they were right in the moment. The picture is a bit dark but it gives a sense of the atmosphere the staff have created.
